BASICS
The LuHi BASICS program is a one-of-a kind
program designed to fulfill the needs of students academically and
creatively. It blends academic and study skills support with
recreational activity. Our staff prides itself in providing an
atmosphere of learning, making new friends, and having fun. Children are
grouped by grade level. Groups are co-ed and follow an age-appropriate
daily schedule packed with academics that follow New York State
standards and recreational activities, and our Learn-to-Swim program.
Age Level
Girls and boys entering grades 4 through 8.
Tuition
$975 per session. Lunch is available for an additional $60 per
session.
Director,
Lauren Micheletti.
Miss Micheletti is a founding member of the BASICS program and is
certified in both special education and science. She is a dedicated
professional with over 3 years of teaching experience at Eastern Suffolk
BOCES.
