School of Dance The LuHi School of Dance consists of classes in the techniques of ballet, modern, and jazz. Students are grouped by age and ability. Experience is not necessary. Classes are held in the fully air-conditioned Performing Arts Center and the Dance Studio of the Ammerman Center. Dancers will learn at least four pieces of choreography from our staff, which consists of experienced dance teachers and NYC professionals. There will be a performance at the end of the session and all family and friends are welcome to attend. Age Level Girls entering grades 2 through 10. Director, Kara Rosales. Ms. Rosales has been directing LuHi’s Dance School for 15 years. She is currently dancing professionally with Rod Rodgers Dance Company, a modern dance company based in Manhattan. Ms. Rosales holds a MFA in Dance from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and a BFA in Dance from Adelphi University. Ms. Rosales is an outstanding teacher and an excellent role model for her students.
