Fencing This program is offered to students who have never fenced before as well as those on an intermediate level. Fundamentals, fencing footwork, rules of fencing, and skills are practiced and drilled daily with experienced coaches. Electrical bouts, as well as general physical preparation, game play, and instructional fencing videos are also utilized to enhance students’ fencing skills and overall program. All necessary equipment will be provided. Age Level Girls & boys entering grades 5 through 10. Director, Alan Kuver. Mr. Kuver is the Varsity Fencing coach at Huntington High School, Chairman of the Long Island Division of the USFA, and Director of several overnight fencing camps on the eastern seaboard. He is a state-certified Technology Education Teacher in the Huntington School District and is also certified in CPR and First Aid. |
