"Funtastics" (formerly
Recreation)
Children in grades 1 through 6 are grouped by gender and grade level.
Our Kindergarten group is a co-ed group that is staffed with additional
supervision. Each group follows an age-appropriate daily schedule packed
with activities such as those listed below, along with our Learn-to-Swim
program.
Some of our activities have included:

• Soccer • Baseball • Computers • Kickball • Pillow polo
• Softball • Basketball • Football • Lacrosse • Pool games
• Volleyball • Board Games • Daily Swim Instruction
• Recreational Swim • Movies • Woodshop
Enjoyable, educational programs are brought on campus for our younger
students. We provide a Gymboree music and movement class for our
Kindergartners. Older campers are treated to supervised off-campus field
trips that have included bowling, laser tag, and more! We are always
adding new activities and growing to present the best program possible!
Age Level
Girls and boys entering grades K through 6.
Tuition
$975 per session. Includes Red Cross Swim Instruction
and afternoon snack. Lunch is available for an additional
$60 per session.

Denise Keltos.
Mrs. Keltos is an elementary educator. She is entering her 14th year as
Director of the LuHi Funtastics! Program and heads an outstanding staff
dedicated to giving every child in the program a rewarding and
fun-filled summer experience.

Ms. White is a certified Red Cross Water Safety Instructor, a Varsity
Swim Coach at Sacred Heart, and has been the Pool Director at LuHi for
the past 22 years. |
