LuHi Girls Shooter's
LuHi Girls Shooter’s is an intensive program where each player learns
what it feels like to be a scorer. Players are taken through the
fundamentals of shooting the basketball and will learn the shooting
drills, the right mental approach, and the confidence to not just be a
shooter but a scorer. It is a teaching program devoted to the most
important and fun part of every player’s basketball skill development –
shooting and scoring!
Age Level
Girls entering grades 7 through 11.
Tuition
$975 for the session. Each girl will receive a free Girls Shooter’s
basketball. Lunch is available for an additional $60.
Director, Phil
Robinson.
Coach Robinson is an outstanding
teacher of the game of basketball with over 39 years of head coaching
experience on the college, high school, and junior high school levels
with boys and girls. He has been a member of the LuHi staff for 44
years. Currently he is the Assistant Varsity Coach at Ravenscroft High
School in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Program Highlights
This exciting 2-week format includes the Shooter's Workout, emphasizing
the 5 R’s of shooting: rotation, release, rhythm, range, and repetition;
daily full-court conditioning drills; a minimum of two games daily; and
a variety of competitive individual and team contests.
