    Lady Rookie School
The Lady Rookie School is specifically designed for young girls to learn the fundamentals and to develop basic skills in a variety of team sports including basketball, soccer, softball, lacrosse and team handball, plus track & field skills. Emphasis is on having fun while developing hand-eye coordination and footwork and learning positioning, game rules, and concepts of team play, with special emphasis on good sportsmanship. Girls will be involved in a variety of small group fun activities that promote working together within a team, cooperation, communication, and decision-making skills.


Age Level
Girls entering grades 1 through 4.

Tuition
$975 per session. Includes Red Cross Swim Instruction and afternoon snack. Lunch is available for an additional $60 per session.

Director, Carrie Hamilton.
Coach Hamilton is the 7th Grade Girls Soccer Coach and Girls Spring Track Coach at Grand Avenue Middle School. She also played on the Women’s Soccer and Basketball teams at Adelphi University and now teaches physical education in the Bellmore-Merrick CHSD.
