The Rookie All Stars Program is designed specifically for Intermediate grade level athletes who are enthusiastic about playing sports. Young athletes are introduced to advanced skills in a variety of team sports including baseball, basketball, football, soccer, and lacrosse, and individual sports, including Ultimate Gaga, golf and tennis. Emphasis is placed on having fun, maintaining team camaraderie, following the rules, listening and learning from their coaches, and fine tuning motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Skills are taught in drills, game situations, and full games. Advanced Rookies will also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of off-campus activities including; batting cages, Indoor Ultimate Gaga, Sporttime and a major league baseball game. Teamwork, friendly competition, sportsmanship, safety and respect for the rules and for each other will be stressed.

Coach Rivera is a 5th Grade teacher in the Brentwood School District with over 13 years experience. He is the JV9 Wrestling Coach at Brentwood High School and coaches a variety of other youth sports. He is entering his 16th year as part of the LuHi Rookie School Staff. Coach Rivera is an outstanding educator, an enthusiastic leader, and a wonderful motivator of young children.

Includes Red Cross Swim Instruction and afternoon snack. Lunch is available for an additional $60 per session.
