Lady Rookie School

The Lady Rookie School is specifically designed for young girls to learn the fundamentals and to develop basic skills in a variety of team sports including basketball, soccer, softball, lacrosse and team handball, plus track & field skills. Emphasis is on having fun while developing hand-eye coordination and footwork and learning positioning, game rules, and concepts of team play, with special emphasis on good sportsmanship. Girls will be involved in a variety of small group fun activities that promote working together within a team, cooperation, communication, and decision-making skills.

Coach Rivera is a 5th Grade teacher in the Brentwood School District with over 13 years experience. He is the JV9 Wrestling Coach at Brentwood High School and coaches a variety of other youth sports. He is entering his 16th year as part of the LuHi Rookie School Staff. Coach Rivera is an outstanding educator, an enthusiastic leader, and a wonderful motivator of young children.

$1050 for the session.

Includes Red Cross Swim Instruction and afternoon snack. Lunch is available for an additional $60 per session.

  • 9:00: Campers arrive on campus, report to assigned Clubhouse

  • 1:20: Soccer
