The Port Sailing School is located at the Brewer Capri Marina on Port Washington's beautifully protected harbor. Students are grouped by age and experience. They are on a boat with an instructor at all times. This is a rain or shine program which includes classroom instruction on days with bad weather. Six-to-one is the maximum student-to-instructor ratio, and life jackets are worn at all times while on or near the water. Students completing the course will receive a New York State Safe Boating Course Certificate.

Chris Nihill is the Director of the Port Sailing School. Mr. Nihill leads an outstanding staff of sailing instructors with an average of 10 years of experience. Our instructors are either U.S. Coast Guard Captains or certified by the U.S. or American Sailing Associations.
$1375 for the session.
Lunch is available for an additional $50 per session.
Boys and Girls entering grades 5 through 10.
